With "InfluSense" we created a light-experience based on the current weather. The lamp connects to the Internet and gets the informations needed right from an weather API. With these datas it creates a Light based on the current weather of your place. But to tell the actual weather you just need to look outside the window - so we decided to go a step further. We decided to make like against the actual weather. So if it is hot outside and the sun is burning, we created a cool breeze light, while if it is rainy and cold a warming lightcolor appeared.
With the thesis of work against the weather with light, we also build an app. The app gave the possibility to give feedback to the feelings. So we asked the user "if it's rainy, does warm lightcolors make you feel more comfortable?".
My part in this three person-teamwork was mainly to create the app and make it talk to the API, and also make the LED react with the right colors to the informations we got.
